The second report of InvestigatePH, the independent international investigation into the human rights crisis in the Philippines, was released on July 6th. It details police and military impunity, a war against dissenters, and the destruction and displacement brought upon the Moro people.
Members, affiliates, and allies of ICHRP-Canada expressed our outrage at these results. The injustices against the people of the Philippines needs to be recognized the world over, and those responsible must be held accountable.
ICHRP-Canada supports the recommendations of InvestigatePH, and we await the third report of the investigation which is scheduled for mid-October 2021.
